BOARD MEMBERS:

As a Black centered organization, our Board of Directors comprise of individuals with Black lived experiences both within and outside of Canada. We value diverse opinions and therefore include board members with diverse social and professional backgrounds. Each of our board member is committed to the work with Black persons and provide governance through their expertise, talent and leadership.

LEADERSHIP TEAM:

Our leadership team is comprised of our Executive Director, Manager of Client Services, Accounting and Operations Personnel, and the Manager of Research & Strategic Initiatives. Collaboratively, the team works to ensure that administration, services, programs and strategic planning are well-aligned to KMFW vision, mission and values. The work of the leadership team is ably directed and supported by our competent and experienced Board Members.

MANAGEMENT TEAM:

The Management team is comprised of our Program Coordinators, Research Coordinators, IT Specialist, and the Children & Youth Services Coordinator. Together our competent and inspiring management team promote quality supports, using an individualized approach that accommodates the intersections and experiences of our clientele. They ensure that our staff and volunteers are well-supported while delivering services, and play a strategic role in our work with partners and the community.

STAFF/MEMBERS:

The mutual goal of our dedicated staff is to harness and leverage their expertise to foster client health and wellness. We pride in the ability of our staff to selflessly embrace challenges, as they adopt client-centered approaches and intentionally engage the experiences of service users in their delivery of culturally-tailored programs. Coming from different cultural, social, and professional backgrounds, our staff are not only well-informed, but also strategically positioned to address the needs of clients, irrespective of intersectionality.

VOLUNTEERS:

Our volunteers are passionate about giving back to their community and are committed to the work relating to Black persons. They are individuals who contribute the day to day running, planning and delivery of programs and services to our clients and in the community. We have an exemption team of volunteers here at KMFW!
